A bus from Central Glasgow took me to Milton then a short walk to the easy roadside trig point at High Possil Wood. My next destination was the trig point at Balmuildy which mean walking south dow the east bank of the canal past an industrial estate and crossing a bridge before heading north again on the west bank. Then up through some woods southeast of the trig point. There was a big deer fence once I got near that looked like it would block my way but there is a way in to the east and a path leading straight to the trig point and on to the main road. I walked north along this to get access to the Kelvin Walkway which took me all the way to trig point number 3 at Maryhill Park. Then a bus back from Maryhill into town. |
